BASIGNANI WINERY Established in 1986, Basignani Winery is one of Maryland's award winning wineries, producing world class wines. Using traditional cellar methods, the wines, which are estate grown and bottled, are classically styled and produced. The vineyards are small, well kept and reminiscent of old world viticulture.
BLACK-EYED SUSAN PADDLEWHEEL RIVERBOAT The Black-Eyed Susan (docked at the Broadway Pier in Fells Point) is an authentic paddlewheel riverboat specializing in fine food and Southern Hospitality. EVERGREEN HOUSE OF JOHNS HOPKINS This 48 room Italianate Mansion, the former home of Baltimore's Garrett Family, houses one of Baltimore's finest collections of post Impressionists paintings, Tiffany glass and rare books. Open daily for tours. Evergreen's Carriage House and Upper Garden are available for private events.
FIRE MUSEUM OF MARYLAND The Fire Museum of Maryland captivates all visitors with its collection of hand drawn, horse drawn and self propelled fire fighting equipment. The history of fire fighting in the United States from the colonial period to the present is brought to life through engaging exhibits that continue to be exciting and valuable experiences. GENESEE VALLEY Experiential learning programs designed to focus on life skills (teamwork, communication, trust, etc.) for both students and adults. We give groups the tools necessary to achieve higher functioning. Other offerings include agricultural and environmental education, summer camp and adventure programming.
GEPPI'S ENTERTAINMENT MUSEUM When you visit Geppi's Entertainment Museum you'll take an entertaining pop culture journey through American History. You will find original artifacts, including toys, media and comic characters that provide an educational insight to our past.
GLENN L. MARTIN MARYLAND AVIATION MUSEUM The Museum features Maryland's Aviation and Aerospace history-Exhibits on Aviation Pioneer, Glenn L. Martin, Lockheed Aircraft and Lockheed Martin-Aviation archives-An outdoor aircraft display at Martin State Airport and a Monthly Speaker Program at the Lockheed Martin auditorium. The Museum is located in Hanger 5 at Martin State Airport in Middle River, Maryland. Hours are Wednesday-Saturday from 11am-3pm.
HAMPTON NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE Preserving a significant remainder of the self-made 24,000 acre Agricultural, Industrial and Commercial Empire which began in 1745, has been maintained, at least in part, by the Ridgley family for more than 200 years. The focal point of the site is the 33-room mansion built between 1783 & 1790.
